Mezzo soprano Sarah Holman and pianist Nyela Basny will be performing a recital featuring "Amour viens rendre mon ame" from Gluck's Orfeo, the song cycle Les nuits d'ete of Berlioz, and the Mignon Lieder from Gedichte von Goethe of Hugo Wolf. The recital will also include the premier of the mezzo soprano version of David Cutler's Evenly Spaced Waves of Irony which won the 2006 NATS Art Song Composition Award. Both Edwards and Holman are on the faculty of Wheaton College Conservatory in Illinois.
